This is just sad.

Also lmao at the person saying being attracted to "cis" women and transmen makes you bisexual. Aren't these the same people who all the time say you can be lesbian and still attracted to men cuz ~sexuality is fluiiid~?? Why does this logic not apply to transmen, I wonder?

They really do need a flowchart to keep track of their own bullshit, don't they?

Okay lol I actually was thinking the other day of making a flowchart of TQ+ arguments, seriously! Like this, but for gender identity beliefs: https://i.imgur.com/CRLq0Y8.jpg

That^ flowchart challenges the three fundamental assumptions of Christianity: That "God" is 1. loving 2. omnipresent 3. omniscient. One would have to identify similar core beliefs held in transgender ideology about gender identity in order to reproduce a similar structure.

But honestly, even just having a flowchart to keep track of their crazy bullshit would be useful.

I really do love this flowchart but it does assume that Ultimate Reality has a rational structure when it clearly does not. Most "serious" Christians (i.e. ones whose commitment I respect) would acknowledge the ultimate Mystery that lies beyond anything you can say rationally about God.

I am not a Christian, I am a polytheist who believes in a single Creation Principle ("God" for all intents and purposes) that lies beyond good vs. evil dichotomy. Even the rank-and-file deities lie beyond good/evil dichotomies, they tend to be either helpful or not helpful depending upon your own personal characteristics and circumstances. And, in my experience, if you call upon a particular deity to grant certain beneficial qualities, you typically succeed in obtaining/manifesting those qualities, but you also end up manifesting circumstances in which those qualities are required. So it's a double-edged sword.

I think, with all due respect, reducing people to their genitals is inherently problematic. In practice this doesn't seem any different from cis het men declaring themselves as "super straights" as a way to exclude trans women and deligitimize the identities of non binary people.

Oh f right off. Trans exclude trans too, but most of them are too cowardly or disingenuous to say it.

I know I'm in for a gaslighting treat whenever I see the word "problematic" on reddit. Due respect? You have none for the lesbians there.

“Problematic” means you have a boundary that they want to tear down.

Ain't that always the case. But they always have such a mild way of going about it. Like if Charlie Brown was a trans apologist. It lulls people away from realizing the control freaky nature of what they're saying.

I love how they keep saying this as some kind of gotcha. What is supposed to be the actual problem with that. Straight men saying they are only attracted to women is completely and utterly fine.

Super Straights declaring their boundaries always aggravated them, because it threatened to set a precedent/standard for sexual autonomy that actively hurt their attempts at violating other people's boundaries. That's why they got social media corporations to shut that down across the internet with an iron fist.

It's fucking insane to me how fast and aggressively shut it down. Truth hurts so bad?

They can make up all the words they want and it's all fun and dandy but it seems that when we make up words, we are bigots.

I don’t think anyone cares if people are attracted to certain genitals, but there’s no need to create a distinct label for it. Why does anyone need to know? That’s a conversation you can have with potential partners when and if it becomes relevant.

Because it makes it a lot easier to search for potential partners when you can completely weed out all incompatible people from the start. That's the entire fucking reason we had gay and lesbian bars and dating apps and such.

And it's relevant from the fucking start. If something is a hard deal breaker like that then it needs to be known from the start so no one wastes their fucking time.

Soooo… we need all those micro labels that mean the same thing and only describe ~5 people, but one word that describes a significant group of people is unnecessary?

Removed, and to no one's surprise, by a trans woman mod (Rasputine is MTF).

Here's an archive I saved after it was removed: https://archive.ph/erNQh

And here's a very telling Unddit that shows much of the lesbian community actually supporting her: https://www.unddit.com/r/LesbianActually/comments/tvgr43/same_sex_attracted_word

EDIT: if anyone is having trouble seeing API-loading sites like Reveddit or Unddit, you need to turn "Enhanced Tracking Protection" off on your browser in order to let it load. I don't know how you do it on other browsers, but on Firefox, click the shield icon on the left side of the URL.

You can also ask one of us who already did so to archive the page for you. Here's the Unddit: https://archive.ph/MRDda

Being diplomatic just doesn't work with this crowd. We've seen it over and over again.

They're like these kindergarten kids throwing tantrums. No discussion only demands.

Just sad to see. And of course, people find it offensive if you say you're "same-sex attracted" too, because then that acknowledges the uncomfortable reality that sex matters.

And then they call you a genital fetishist... and on it goes...

We are going to need a lot of psychs and mental health institutions to deal with the fallout from of this fuckery soon.
