... I liked it better when it was marvel trolling with the snowflake and safespace heroes.

RIP for your mood when you just tried to chill and enjoy yourself while watching a show.

But that's not the first NB character DC introduced, and they've put the ugly trans flag fucking the LGB one on the side on their comics too when it comes to pride month so you shouldn't expect less from them. At some point they're going to make batman a proud half black half asian NB xir/xer (or whatever) transwoman wearing a fucking wig on top of his cowl and everyone will applaud Batranswoman™ being Stunning and Brave while people with common sense will slowly die inside.

Vulgar but true in more ways than one :(

I'm glad that was just a credits scene, but you got something wrong. Kaldur and wyynde are 1 of the 2 gay couples. Greg Weisman confirmed that Ed is gay and in a relationship with someone, but Greg's not allowed by some higher ups to confirm that that someone is Bart, so he can only hint that they're together. Of course, this only further proves your point, not lessens it

Edit: There's also the poly relationship now that has 2 men and a woman in it, but I'm pretty sure they only set that up to kill one of the men off in the next episode

I didn't know this before. Are they serious? So a gay male relationship is a big no-no but officially on-screen declaring made-up pronouns and gender identity nonsense is perfectly fine? Do they even know how and why did LGBTQ+ start?

I wouldn't be surprised if they get Violet in a relationship with a demi genderfluid man and call it "queer representation" because god forbid we get a legitimate gay male/lesbian relationship in this show. I'm still salty that they barely explored Aqualad's relationship with Wyynde and yet they choose to do this.

Does anyone else foresee that "gay" relationships among characters in media will soon consist of... a man who "identifies" as something other than male + a woman who "identifies" as something other than female? Ooh, an enby with a dick dating a demiboy with a pussy! Neither of whom would ever date anyone with junk matching their own IN A MILLION YEARS! How can you possibly get gayer than THAT? SO diverse and inclusive!

Brings to mind what they used to say about the Ford Model T: "any color as long as it's black". Depicting gay relationships is FINE... as long as the only people in 'em are straight :(

Yes, for a number of reasons. Including for expedience because they can simultaneously claim “gay” and trans representation in one bundle. It’s quick, easy, and low effort. And since most of the people pushing for “LGBTQ” are heterosexual pronoun people or heterosexual allies of pronoun people, they will absolutely be satisfied and will not see any problem or the irony. They are also more likely to see themselves represented by this. It feels pretty inevitable to be honest. And it is stomach turning.

Omg why?? Why is sexuality suddenly so important??

The worst part is that DC actually made quite a few character LGB, which is cool (well it's supposed to be cool but now I am almost numb to any sort of representation from any big companies because it ultimately gets ruined by the they/them crew, and doesn't feel genuine). But the more time passes, the more it looks like they're using LGB as a bridge for trans nonsense on top of probably doing it for appearing woke and progressive. And if I'm pushing that thought further, that's how the whole TQ+ thing feels like. Using LGB people as a launching pad to fullfil their weird agenda. They never gave a shit about same-sex attraction.

Yeah, I'm also a fan and cringed a lot at that last episode. Also the sanitized exposition of Islam. >_<

Some of my friends are ex-Muslims living in Islamic countries, they watched the episode too and they absolutely did not get the choice to "get rid of the hijab/khimar" as they said in this episode. It wasn't and it isn't a choice.

I hate when woke media keeps glossing over, altering, and glorifying stuff at the expense of other people in life-or-death situations. Stop lying, it's gross.

So are the villains going to respect her insanity? I mean they have to because otherwise it would offend & invalidate the enby viewers. Wanting to rule the world is ok but misgendering is no no. Also her insane pronouns would have to be told to every new person she mets. Imagine how fucking boring that would make an episode.

No silly, everyone will magically know her pronounce otherwise they're bigots 🙄 Don't you know once you come out it's illegal to not know someone's gender even if it changes every 5 seconds?

This reminds me how there is a game which has several gay relationships (usually between random NPCs but there is one between the alies of the protagonist) but suddenly they added some non-binary character, who looks like a young boy to me and is the only one getting to say it very openly to the point you cannot miss that he's non-binary specifically. Meanwhile you never get characters to say they're gay. It's very telling. This non-binary boy is also just so cringy. Overly confident and sassy - so this has a "yas queen slay" feel.
