This is really sad news, I really appreciated them being a strictly LGB source. I wish they would tell us more about what's happening, I feel like they're holding back.

They're a one-year old news website, of course they will struggle for support. Yes, cancel culture is coming after them (and us, and LGBA, etc etc). They will need donations to keep going when not funded or privately invested in, totally understand.

There's some context we're missing, and I definitely feel it, there's something between the lines that's not being said. What it is though? Why drag LGBA for not offering *enough* support? Why not put out another round of crowdfunding/ask for donations again?

To close like this feels like giving up, and also like an extinction burst. There's something sorta attention-grabby about it.

Yeah this is a weird closing announcement. They're throwing shade at LGBA without being specific about what they did wrong, and the tone is as if they're entitled to something other than general comradery between organizations.

I think the issue is that they cannot securely fund the enterprise. The fact that they are gender critical poses risks to potential funders.
