Which leaves me to wonder: why are TRAs recruiting so many vulnerable and impressionable youths to be trans? That reduces their dating pool.

I think some of the TRAs recruiting kids are among the minority of trans people who are actively attracted to other trans people. Oddly enough some transgenders seem to be chasers themselves, and have a fetish for other transgenders.

And the rest are just stupid. As we've seen, TRAs aren't too big on intelligence or logic. Or being in touch with reality in general. Or comprehending long-term consequences. These dumbasses don't seem to realize that recruiting "trans kids" is a huge liability for them. Sure, their numbers might get a boost in the short-term but in the long-term they're just creating more detransitioners and drawing more scrutinizing eyes towards their movement. Of course I guess if they actually were the types to put thought into long-term consequences, a lot of them wouldn't be trans in the first place...

You’re right. The only reason TRAs have been successful thus far is because people who see the movement for what it is get silenced.
