Lia Thomas has made history as the first out transgender

Wow good thing they told me he was trans, I never would have guessed 🤯

That also implies that other transwomen are expected to follow his example.

I saw a video of the crowd booing and hissing when he was announced as the winner. The crowd are not having it. Such a shame that people like the "journalists" who work for Gay Times are out of touch with reality. But at least less people are falling for it.

I'm gay. I know plenty of trans people in the community. I don't know anyone who thinks this shit makes any sense. Living as a woman and being a woman in a social sense doesn't give you a woman's anatomy. It's not even all trans people who are doing it, it's a minority of a minority. I feel like this is just more insane culture war shit being pushed by the state/corporations, but what would be the point? Where is this shit even coming from

I see this alot... everyday trans don't want this yet all the major organizations and publications are applauding it.

It's a humiliation ritual perpetrated by elites.

Either that or an idiocy ritual perpetuated by idiots who don't want to look bad for not catering to even dumber idiots. Might even be both. Hell, probably is both.

Agreed. The funny part is, the target of the humiliation ritual (working class and middle class men , as no one thinks women actually matter in their own right) don't even realize they're the target. They're supposed to feel shame that their daughters can be forced to parade in the nude for any teen boy psychopathic enough to proclaim he's a trans "girl" and hence entitled to the girls' showers, that their wives cannot safely use a public restroom or gym. But they think it's what women deserve, for wanting to actually go to university and get a career, instead of just being housewives. A lot of them take that view, per what I see online anyway.

We must spend time in very different spaces online, I've seen that view occasionally, often from bitter men failed by a university or court system that doesn't know how to handle anything properly and for some godforsaken reason blaming all women everywhere instead of overgrown bureaucracy and policymakers with their heads up their asses, but it's almost always low-vote and buried under loads of comments with a different perspective. I see the not realizing that they're the target constantly, but it's because they don't realize it's a humiliation thing, they just think "oh, hey, men wearing makeup are on the news, what the hell did those fuckers that look straight out of the freakshow at the county fair do to end up there now? Commit a sex crime? Gross, always knew those damn Democrats were perverts. Win women's sports? Hehey, it's so weird it's nearly comedy! Get in a culture war battle with a feminist or some gay people? Grab the popcorn, hippie fight!".

Most things that seem so extreme that they would have to be fringe groups are, and most people are on the periphery of knowledge on any given issue and don't truly understand its significance. Remember, most people don't live and breathe politics, only those forced into it by circumstance and the power-hungry.

being a woman in a social sense

Which means what, exactly? You're either a woman or you're not, liking dresses and makeup doesn't make you a woman "spiritually" or "socially". That what's irritating about all these pro-trans apologist LGB idiots. They spout off a bunch of nonsense that doesn't make any more sense than the stuff they're criticizing.

Problem is, transgenderism itself-- as an ideology-- inevitably ends up here, regardless of what individual trans people and their supporters might think or believe. They themselves often stop well short of this, and want everyone else to do the same; unfortunately, there's no way of ensuring that an argument won't be taken to its logical conclusion. Which, as I see it, comes down to this:

  • Since: A.] being a man/boy, or woman/girl, is a matter not of biological sex but of personality and behavior; and B.] categorizing personality and behavior as "male" or "female" is what gender roles do; then C.] being male or female is a matter of gender.
  • Therefore: 1.] all identities based on biological sex (man, woman; homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual) are invalid at best and bigoted at worst; and 2.] gender-- the ultimate source of both misogyny and homophobia/biphobia -- must be upheld by everyone.
  • Ultimately, this cannot help but result in trans people demanding sex from those of incompatible sexual orientation, because that's the one true test of whether their "gender identity" prevails. Anything else might be a lie. So no amount of reciting TWAW will do; only an exclusively female-attracted person (lesbian or straight man) being into a "TW" proves that this is how they really perceive him.

But this means that transologists can't be met halfway, doesn't it? And then what happens to the reasonable ones, who have no interest in violating any boundaries, and are just trying to find some way of living with themselves? I don't know, and the question continues to really, really bother me :(

If they are really concerned they would speak out, but they don't. This would be the hard work they didn't have to do when the whole lgb apparatus was handed to them. I'm glad when they do speak up, but I bet they are still in those spaces hostile to homosexuals/

Thomas, a transgender swimmer on the women’s team at the University of Pennsylvania, previously spent three years competing on the men’s team.

🤔 did he win? Or was he generally near or in last place?

He was ranked 400-somethingth as a man.
