If everyone is bisexual, why has nearly every society throughout history organized itself around a model of exclusively heterosexual relationships? Wouldn't you expect relationships to be about 50/50 same-sex opposite-sex? People will talk about how there's stigma around bisexuality, but if everyone is bisexual why would that exist?

I'm a woman who gets a lot of compliments from gay men and straight women on my appearance. Why? Because I often look put-together and can do so pretty easily. These groups are the biggest purveyors of compliments to me. That lack of sexual attraction comes through in the compliment and the casual way in which it's delivered, which they don't have to worry about overthinking because of their awareness of the lack of potential for sexual tension.

I think these people are so self-obsessed that they can't imagine anyone not being into them.

Jesus. I remember saying things to straight guys about how i can say a woman looks hot but not want to fuck her. Just like i can say a car is looking good or is awesome but i dont want to fuck a car.

Sounds like carphobia to me.

What I take from this is that this guy is so ugly that even his own mother couldn't bring herself to ever call him handsome.

What a juvenile idea of sexuality/attraction.

Yeah, well, I don't believe in your gender ID, Danielle.

I think the woke/redditor crowd has largely ruined the exclamation "yikes". It's always used now to express incredulity about some factoid they act like should be self-evident/commonsense to others, but is really just a obscure, theoretical feature of their specialized 'bubble-boy' environment and social circles.

Like others have said, it's completely possible to recognize and compliment someone's general visual appeal without being pulled to them personally. It's called empathy(not fluidity). But then again TRAs have none...
