This comment was priceless:

One of the worst things in my experience being trans is that we are a tiny minority. It's not like other minorities who have greater numbers and subsequently more resources to fight harmful stereotypes and bullshit. We are so few relatively speaking that we do not get to control the narrative or conversation being had about us.

What world are you living in? Trans identification is rising, and you control the entire LGBTQ++ narrative and the entire trans narrative.

Not to mention, if a group is small enough, stereotypes are just a description. Stereotypes are stereotypes because a small part of a group has become representative of the rest of the group. That's hard to say about the T where the majority are the supposed stereotype.

Let's be honest, the T phenomenon is entirely only about stereotypes, almost by definition.

Well those stereotypes they rely on are stereotypes about men, women, and homo/bisexuals. They do require those stereotypes to justify their own existence. But the T themselves are pretty much just their own one stereotype per tribe: trans lesbians, trans gay men, etc.
