genitals are not masculine or feminine but boobs are, so they get them or cut them off. but genitals? no.

“I spend all my time talking about how much I hate my genitals for being the wrong kind OR trying to tell actively disinterested people that they could like them. But, there’s no way to know if genitals or male or female!”

It is SO cool that some people turn me off. Being bisexual I'm just attracted to anything with a dick or vagina ya know. Thank goodness for the trans, without them I would have to have sex with every person on earth, cuz ya know I'm BISEXUAL.

essentialism

You mean biological essentialism? Like saying someone is born in the wrong body and they can't change that and require a bunch of cross sex hormones and surgery to fix it? That sounds a lot like biological essentialism to me.

This rage these assholes have against biological essentialism is so fucking stupid, their entire god damned movement is fucking based on it.

Another double standard to throw on the pile. Only trans people are born that way. Everyone else just chooses for the sole purpose of being transphobic I guess.

Yep, basically. There is no concept of being trans without "biological essentialism." Their entire self-conception is rooted in their awareness of their biological sex. They can deny it all they want, but what would they say if you and I tell them that we identify as "AFAB trans women" and "AFAB trans lesbians" specifically, aka "trans trans women" and "trans trans lesbians"? And now we get to speak from inside the trans community about our experience as minority trans trans lesbians in a sea of AMAB trans lesbians aka "cis trans lesbians." Because you know, we've had this longstanding unexplainable feeling that we really are trans women. How dare those cis trans women gatekeep the word "trans woman" from us when we have to put in so much effort into being seen as trans women and they have the gall to punch down on us by always throwing their girldicks in our faces?! It's not our fault we were born with functioning female reproductive organs. We just want our vaginas to at least be seen as neovaginas, and would appreciate if they would refer to them as such. How hard is it to just be nice and inclusive for once?! It doesn't cost you anything.

The day trans activists can make an argument that stands on its own without using false equivalence from other civil rights movements is the day I might reconsider their status in my mind as nothing more than a cult.

It might also be nice to have some evidence to back up this 'humans can change sex' claim. That would be a fascinating read.

They'll just compare us to clownfish and seahorses. Don't hold your breath.

More like, I denied him the promotion because the dude came in here with blackface and pretended to be black.

Not to mention trans people can have whatever genitals they damn well please.

Bisexuals not being attracted to you is not an attack on you.

Like there's nothing intrisically masculine or feminine about genitals, you just have preconcieved notion based on societal gender norms.

These "preconcieved notions" are based on biology and years of observing the terribly transphobic differences between the sexes(this Reality character is a real bigot yo). and no amount of gaslighting, surgery, and hormone replacement is gonna dislodge them from a rational mind.

Not to mention trans people can have whatever genitals they damn well please.

Good. And people turn down whomever they damn well please. No ifs, ands, or buts.

It's sort of like saying, "I didn't deny them the promotion because they're black, I'm no racist! I denied them the promotion because black people are lazy!" Like yeah, that's racism...

Wow, once again the right of one's sexual autonomy is compared to something completely unrelated- like denying someone a promotion at work due to their skin colour. How often do TRAs use racism as real crappy analogy in their arguments?

Another thing is coming from this that many trans believe getting into someone's pants is something that they are entitled to, especially if they think they 'worked' for it. The other person and what they want doesn't matter in the end. What matters is that the trans earned their promotion dibs to have sex with someone. And the other person MUST give it to them. Or that's racism transphobia.

Anyway, the genderspecials really messed up the label bisexual. Used to mean people who could tell the sexes apart. Not mean,

I can love EVERYONE. The entire world indiscriminately- simultaneously. I fracking can't tell the difference between anything. Man or Woman. Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral. Hurr Durr I just drove my car right into a telephone pole; I thought it was a DICK! #JustBiThings

Obviously the very concept of being bisexual... or even, not bisexual... would be transphobic. At some point, you just have to be attracted to everyone or you're transphobic. I mean, what are you against? If you're distinguishing sexes, you can't determine which one is which until after they decide to tell you, and they might not have told you yet, so maybe you were attracted to that one after all.

I mean what if they have not come out? That doesn't mean they're not already whatever they ultimately are going to realize they are, so if you have a relationship with a woman who breaks up with you and later realizes she's a man, then you were attracted to men the whole time. So everyone is potentially attracted to everyone, stop trying to limit things. Unless you're trans, of course.

Yeah, I think that, according to the Church of T, sexual orientation itself is transphobic. ANY of 'em. Because they're all based on biological sex, not gender. And maybe that's REALLY what "transphobia" comes down to: not agreeing that "gender identity" cancels out biological sex (in humans, anyway).

As someone else once observed, it really IS like the doctrine of transubstantiation... so I guess "biological sex magically turns into gender!" (as opposed to bread & wine magically turning into Jesus's body & blood) could be called "trans transubstantiation".

Thanks for posting this, Jules. I know that gay people bear the brunt of trans attacks, demanding that you surrender both your bodies and your very identities to them... but they're still gunning for us bisexuals, too. Because, even if they fetishize us less, as a sexual orientation we're still intolerable, and (since their ideology therefore requires defining us as something other than that) instead recast as "DTF the entire world". As the transologists like to say when getting rapey with bisexuals: "but you like BOTH, so you have no excuse for not dating trans people!1!"

Like there's nothing intrinsically masculine or feminine about genitals, you just have preconceived notions based on societal gender norms.

No, genitals don't have a "gender"; they have a sex: male or female. Biological sex predates "gender" by millennia; it's characteristic of life on Earth-- all species (plants as well as animals) which reproduce sexually have it. "Gender" is merely stereotypes ABOUT biological sex, much the same as racial/ethnic stereotypes. Yes, even when repackaged as "gender identity". Because that still always seems to come down to, "I like pink, so I must be a woman!"/"I don't like pink, so I must be a man!" And since sexual orientation is based on biological sex, not "gender" (whether the old-fashioned or NEW! IMPROVED!TM version), "identifying" as a man/woman/enby/whatever has SWEET FUCK-ALL TO DO WITH IT. That goes for bisexuals, homosexuals, and heterosexuals alike. And if you really believe otherwise, "trans folx", WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP PURSUING PEOPLE BASED ON THEIR SEX???

Not to mention trans people can have whatever genitals they damn well please.

No, they can't, any more than they can have actual wings or gills if they damn well please. Or, if they decide they're "catgender", have a feline skeletal structure. What they CAN have are the genitals for their sex in artificially-altered form, which, like surgically-altering your face to match a "catgender identity", might please you, but is pretty much guaranteed to have the opposite effect on EVERYBODY ELSE.

It's sort of like saying "I didn't deny them the promotion because they're black, I'm not racist! I denied them the promotion because black people are lazy!" Like yeah, that's racism...

Oh, so believing in racial stereotypes is racist, huh? Agreed. So... what is believing in SEX stereotypes, then? Like YOU do? So intensely, indeed, that you're doing your damndest to coerce the rest of us into following suit? This intended "gotcha!" of yours is "sort of like saying" something, all right, but it's not "I'm only attracted to biological sex"... it's the following:

It's sort of like saying "I didn't deny them the promotion because they're black a woman, I'm not racist sexist! I denied them the promotion because black people women are lazy childish ditzes obsessed with the color pink and skirts that go spinny!" Like yeah, that's racism sexism...

FIFY :)
