This would all be a non-issue if they wouldn't rewrite the definition of words and act victimized when we don't play along with their delusions. There was no need for us to talk about what genitals someone had, harshly or kindly, until they started making attempts to reform language on a global scale to make themselves feel better.

We all know what "gay" and "lesbian" and "man" and "woman" mean. The world getting peaked over the whole Lia Thomas debacle makes it quite apparent.

The old transsexuals I used to know never acted like this. Trans women lived life presenting as women (and trans men presenting as men), but they all knew what sex they were, and didn't get offended and become aggressive if someone said "no". No one had to go out of their way to play these word games with them because they lived in reality and weren't attempting to deny it.

Are people actually peaking over Lia Thomas? What are you basing that on? Not a challenge, I'm generally curious and would love some good news. It's just that trans women destroying women's sports has been a thing in seemingly every sport for a while now and in private seemingly no one has ever thought that trans women should be in women's sports, yet the court cases and policies changes have been moving full steam ahead against women. I'm wondering what's different now. Is it that families of Ivy League students have a lot more power and personal investment in their daughters' college experiences and future prospects?

I think people are finally starting to connect the dots, and women's sports is helping them do that. We've got a long way to go, but it's a start.

When it was one random cyclist or one random handballer, it could be waved away as "anti-trans"/"terfs" making things harder by cherry-picking. When an entire university team stands up against it, the NCAA starts changing their policies, and several US states update their laws too ... the house of cards seems to be shaking apart.

Just a couple things I've run across, gives me hope things are changing.

In that Reddit thread, even pro-TQ+ are saying it should be sex-based not gender - refreshing for Reddit.

Thanks for sharing. These are promising signs. I'm still waiting for the mainstream liberal media to take their fingers out of their ears. On a lighter note, I have to laugh that someone took the time to write a long comment that included this nugget:

Maybe a solution would be to entirely get rid of the gender classes in sports. Especially sports in which gender doesn't matter at all. A better classification would be athletic capabilities, the thing that actually matters when playing sports. That way, even cis athletes who have unfair advantages due to a variety of reasons (eg. Michael Phelps) will be put against people at their same skill level regardless of gender.

As if the only reason Michael Phelps hasn't had serious competition is because he hasn't been competing against women. I also snorted at the idea of a league for people who excel at a sport and a second league for those who are less good. Let's see how that works out for Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball. Two leagues for men - yay, mission accomplished!

Maybe I didn't read down far enough but I was hoping to see near the top that what most people think of as men's sports leagues aren't even male-exclusive, just that women due to the differences of their female biology have prevented them from being able to perform at the level necessary to even warm the bench, which is why we have female sports leagues to begin with: gender neutral leagues are de facto male-only (e.g., the NBA, NFL, etc.). Liberal people, this is your out. Take it!
