He's just out there advertising all the reasons you want nothing to do with him.

Are you implying, as a lesbian, you wouldn’t be interested in dating a man who’s rude, unemployed, has borderline personality disorder, is lacking in social skills, has serval fake illnesses, and who wants to cheat on you? The very nerve.

Damn you ladies are hilarious, u/sneeuweekhoorn and u/julesburm1891. I'm howling. 🤣

Now if only this wasn't what most Tinder profiles I come across look like.

Who are you kidding? You and u/sneeuweekhoorn are the real MVPs. You’ve always got wicked logical and though-out comments. She cuts straight to the meat of the matter in the best way. The sub is definitely the better with you two.

^ Literally. The two of them constantly impress me. I do love your comments, though, too, jules! They're very grounding :)

Thanks babe! I do tend to be rather long-winded. It comes from being used to having to show my thought process to back up my conclusions. Sometimes I do wish I was a little less literal, but in this climate it protects me from being lured in by thought-terminating mantras like "TWAW" and "that's transphobic" because my natural instinct is to unpack them and break them down rather than mindlessly repeat them. I do agree that u/sneeuweekhoorn's talent is being able to wade through a morass of befuddling bullshit to strike immediately at the heart of the matter. I always admire women like that. And I do concur with the perspicacious, methodical, and empathetic u/reluctant_commenter that "grounded" is a good way to describe you. Cool-headed, insightful, and refreshingly normal. Funny that normal is such a compliment these days, but isn't it though?

This place continues to be my sane space.

I know you posted this ages ago, but I just wanted to say thanks for your kind words, they made me smile. :) I will admit, I did have to google what perspicacious meant, hahaha.

I didn't have the energy to respond adequately when I saw this before and wanted to since I'm on right now. Hope you're doing well. People like you and Jules and others here give me hope. Please keep being yourself, you're amazing.

Damn, is it really most?? I've been avoiding dating for the most part, I'm never sure how close to the average profile the Graham Linehan parody is.

I think it depends on where you live. I have friends in super hipster, SJW areas who say it’s like that. I live in a pretty conservative area and it was all straight couples looking for threesomes the last time I used an app.

Awesome, deal with bullshit no matter what you do. Lol.

the last time I used an app.

Glad for your sake that you don't have to anymore! Hope your fiancee's doing well :)

Tbf it’s not just trans people, but the same Tumblresque approach of replacing your profile with a laundry list of political, ideological, sexual, and psychological red flags and mantras. And of course good ole unicorn hunters.

Wait, hol up. How is he kinky AND asexual?

Asking questions is phobia

Its almost as if comorbid mental health issues are common in trans people 🤨

Handicapped first of course! Then, they claim to be 'not attracted to multiple partners at a time but especially women...?' Ace, poly AND lesbian? Yeah you might be special for real bud.

One funny thing I've noticed is that a lot of MTFs are quite proud of having BPD and advertise it publicly. Some will even admit they are narcissistic. I suspect this is peaking people a lot more!
