Truscum are still completely delusional and still extremely homophobic. You can go look at their subs where they still think women can be gay men and men can be lesbians and still think we're evil TERFs for not accepting their homophobic bullshit.

They are slightly more reasonable than the majority, but that's not saying much of anything considering how completely unhinged the general trans movement is. They are not our allies and they do not care about our problems, they still only care about themselves. Their only reason for trying to distance themselves from the TQ+ is self preservation for when the inevitable backlash starts, not because they give a shit about what the trans movement has been doing to LGB and women.

I have been deep-diving KWF commentary on this subject. Yes it's rough and some of the people are mean, but they are correct: if you look carefully enough, every trans person (even those who seem reasonable on the surface) eventually displays signs of mental illness. [Note to mods: realize I'm skating on thin ice, but I think it is legitimate to discuss the substantial correlation of mental illness with trans ideation, how else can we argue that meaningful therapy should be required before transition?] Fundamentally the worldview is contrary to observable reality. The hormone treatments and surgeries do not bring you anywhere close to resembling the opposite sex, and thus do not bring you to any place where you can socially transition in the most intimate setting. Thus by pushing these treatments we are setting people up for a lifetime of unhappiness, which only increases the bad behaviors.

Truscum and tucute are no different from each other in the grand scheme of things. One side thinks that with enough dedication they can attain their "true selves" (in this case being a gay man), while the other thinks the same thing can be achieved with just a snap of the fingers. As others have said in the past, it's kind of like saying there's much difference between a more traditional sect and a more liberal one - both groups ultimately believe homosexuality is something they can identify their way into.
