Straight men can be, on a base level, turned on by men and vice versa for all combinations. But that doesn't make those men bisexual or gay, because biological instinct aside they'll probably not have any romantic or deep feeling towards men anyways.

Could it be any more obvious that this guy is bisexual? What has happened in the last ten years or so that many bisexuals now believe that everyone is bisexual?

I don't think they do; it's more like the opposite-- they now believe that NOBODY is bisexual (including them). Because of the assumption that there's no such thing. Which, thanks to the rise of transology, is now more prevalent than ever. Therefore, they must be either straight or gay. So that means straight and gay can include attraction to both sexes (after all, it does for them!). Just change the definition of monosexuality, and/or throw in some bullshit about sexuality-is-fluid/open-mindedness, and voila! No one has those shameful so-called "genital preferences" any more... and no one is bisexual, either. Two pernicious lies for the price of one! :(

Right? They will be telling you that your sexuality is fluid.
