It's not a sub ban but does getting banned from my bio family cult for saying too many true things count?

Whoa. What are the details here?

It's not a cult in an official sense, it is a narcissistic abuse dynamic involving two close relatives. They do not like it when anyone counters their false narratives with facts. Let's just say I fact-ed the heck out of their last attempt to pick a fight with me.

Damn. Hope you have support/close relationships with other people in your life! Kinda sounds like these people were more of the energy-draining type. A blessing in disguise, maybe?

A blessing in disguise, maybe?

Doing my best to turn it into one. Yes, I have other support thank goodness. I did the work to invest in those relationships for many years and they're coming through for me right now, including friends I had forgotten I had helped through their own tough stuff.

So it's both very hard and reminding me that people who are safe are still around and willing to show up for me. It's all a bit mind-blowing.

Got banned from /lgbt for replacing the word 'trans' with 'woman' in their quote. Pretty funny really it was a very nice post but clearly/lgbt is more like lgbTTTTTTTTT.

Proved my point but whatever I just troll there mostly so no harm done.

My sister told me I was an asshole on Christmas Day. When directly asked about it, I said I wasn’t putting my pronouns in my email signature because I had complete confidence that people see a name used exclusively for women for over 2,000 years and understand I’m a woman. Apparently, I need to support “inclusivity” even if there’s no clear definition of it or any explanation as to why adding pronouns to signatures helps trans people.

That is rude of her. Glad you're not doing that. I feel like the whole "pronouns in email signature" thing is the prototypical example of virtue signaling... where's the evidence that that actually helps trans people?

My workplace has some people doing it and there's started to be some pressure for people to do it. Ugh..

I wonder if anyone here is still on Reddit. I gave up my account months ago. I do still enjoy checking out subs like TumblrinAction though. Gives me hope that the tide is turning.

I'm still on Reddit, mostly to keep the spirit of LGBDTT alive and help redirect people here.
