I've really grown to hate the "Everyone is gay" narrative. No. Some (most) people are just straight. Those comments don't come from people who have the slightest comprehension of the reality of being homosexual.

That's why that quote I saw on here a while back "How can they feel pride when they've never felt shame?" hits so hard. They've never felt shame for liking the opposite sex, and doing mental gymnastics so that they're 'gay' and 'lesbian' and therefore should feel shameful doesn't count (and I doubt they actually feel shame, since they know no matter what, people will sing their praises and encourage their fetishisation).

Everyone is gay

Its just cope for gay(s) who think that their crush is secretly closeted. Everyone who says this is just unable to deal with the fact that their crush doesn't want them.
