Julien, you know we love you. But Reddit bans and purges that are not LGB (or related) don't have a place in this sub. They belong in our Sunday Social or Censorship Thursday threads.

Reddit made their stance clear that "gender identity trumps all" when they banned r/GenderCritical and even r/detrans temporarily, and their own Admins admitted as much. We and others were banned less than 2 weeks later. Subs like TiA have been on a slow burn ever since.

If Reddit bans AGB, absolutely it belongs here. But subs that aren't LGB-related or LGB-adjacent don't belong here. We silence our own LGB voices when we give platform to other causes. That's what got us into this mess.

Why are there so many trans identified moderators?

How much of it is 'real' (in as much as these trans identities can be 'real') is unclear.

It seems that, on Reddit at least, a trans identity is carte blanche for saying and doing basically whatever you want. Threatening to rape someone is unacceptable when you're a straight man, but when you're a stunning and brave trans woman you can do and say what you like.

Why wouldn't you choose to be marginalised if it means you can act with impunity on a platform that used to be known for defending free speech? They know Reddit is going down the toilet, but they can't beat them, so they join them.

And if you'll all wear your tinfoil hats please, ladies and gentlemen, you'll find that trans kiddy diddlers are all friends who look after their own, so the QAnon cabal of paedophiles mightn't be at the highest levels of American government, but there's plenty of reason to think that they might be on the board of Reddit.

Why are there so many trans identified moderators?

That's always their strategy: Get a position which allows one or two people to censor the speech of thousands of others. It's basic control theory, the way a small current through the base of a transistor controls a much larger current.

It's also profoundly undemocratic, but that doesn't seem to bother them.

They are online all day every day.

Because they want power to censor speech and also they literally live online

Being very online is a comorbidity of trans maleness.

Now is the time to let people in these subreddits know that this site exists, and encourage them to set up accounts on here.

I’m here because of the announcement on TiA from Sunday. I’m not going to abandon Reddit entirely, as it is still the biggest aggregate site around and has communities I enjoy such as stopdrinking and kitchenconfidential, but I’ll definitely spend less time there engaging.

Do you think Social Justice in Action and Stupidpol might get b& as well? I've seen them targeting those two subs lately as well.

Of course it's just gender shit that's protected. There's no way they'd protect people who's sexual orientation is being attacked by trans people.

I notice on ukpolitics, such topics get closed. They don't go the way reddit wants them to.
