The tumblrinaction mods issued a notice today: toucan in the coal mine. TLDR: "Might want to tone it down a bit guise, it may extend our longevity a week or two before the admins inevitably obliterate us. Our days are certainly numbered."

I cancelled my Reddit account a while back, but damn, that subreddit seems to be the only based one left. Not surprised that it's on the chopping block.

I've heard that r/detrans has been taken over as well?

It took me a long time to realize how Reddit was thought-policed. I wonder when a critical mass of Redditors will realize how divorced Reddit is from reality?

They got to r/detrans too?! :( That was a crucial resource for detransitioners, so shitty of Reddit if they let that sub get taken over by trans activists!

That should be considered actual discrimination, forcing detrans folks to be modded by trans people, it's like an atheist sub being modded by Christians and censoring all the actual atheists and their concerns and turning the sub into a bible study sub.

I haven't spent time on the subreddit lately. It was something I read in Helen Joyce's 'Trans' and it wouldn't surprise me. Reddit learned from the previous megaban incident that an outright ban is bad optics. They're doing what TRAs do best, rig the game quietly so that everyone things the changes are happening organically.
