My opinion always will be that RuPaul fucked up when he didn't let Landon Cider (Kristine BellaLuna) compete after auditioning for drag race in the US. BellaLuna has made a name for herself by being one of the most innovative and creative drag kings (won a season of Dragula) and would have (a) helped put a GNC woman on TV and (b) could have helped swing the narrative away from the lies about Marsha P Johnson to highlight Stormé DeLarverie. It would have been a moment to reconnect lesbian women with aspects of lesbian culture instead of this trend where everything related to gay men must somehow relate to them, too.

Instead the first woman competing was GottMik. No further comment on that one.

Yes! If women want to be on Drag Race, they should be competing as Drag Kings....that's the whole point of drag.

Damn this is a good point. Really highlights how RP sold out the LGB community and now RuPaul's own misogyny has bit him in the ass. He didn't let an actual drag artist on the show because she's female and now he just ended up opening another portal that straight women could use to infiltrate spaces that are not for them to promote their fetishes and dogma.

Also, Landon Cider is talented as hell and these little straight gaydens could never.
