Labels are very fashionable right now, sadly. In the 90's and early 2000's our attitude was the opposite, and people generally didn't like being placed in a dozen little boxes.

Spot on. I try to tell the youngsters who are questioning, avoid putting labels on themselves until at least their young adulthood. Labels are hard to shed sometimes and easy to misapply.

For some reason, this reminded me of that scene from The Incredibles, "When Everyone's Super". TQ+ would be Syndrome and LGB would be the Incredibles.
