Hmm no because gnc/masculine gay women are highly desirable. No one would dare say "trans men" are wanted more than butches. Women want to kiss boobs, not "top surgery" scars lol I've been begged not to "transition" and told I LOVE YOUR BOOBS!

But I've heard that gnc/feminine gay men have the complete opposite experience... considered undesirable.

I wonder if it has something to do with butch/femme history? Because every couple back then was 1 butch + 1 femme, that framed both of them as desirable.

Whereas feminine gay men don't have that. They don't really even have any normal-ass non-identarian words to describe them. Like there's no male equivalent to "butch" or "tomboy". The "tomboy" one I remember thinking about when I was like 10, and thinking how it was sad and unfair for the boys.

Historically they would just call effeminate men f****ts. Straight or not, you were failing your gender.

Well technically the male equivalent to "tomboy" is "tomgirl", but I hardly ever see anyone using the term "tomgirl" to be fair...

In the past it was about heteronormativity, but today most feminine girls aren't desiring butches. Bisexual with a male preferance might love butches.
