I have shown AL to two friends recently, though, and it shocked them and made them realize how homophobic the transgender movement can be. So now I have some moral support at least, lol.

A surprising amount are young teenagers, like 15 or younger. I'm not sure if you've ever clicked through their profiles but mid 20s or older men and young teenage girls seem to be the two biggest demographics on that sub.

This entire thread is filled with bigoted comments suggesting that women who feel innately attracted to vaginas only should “unpack the transphobic root of their genital preference”, so I was suggesting that maybe the downvotes are coming from a place more reasonable than TERF ideology?

I get what you’re saying to an extent. But to be honest, there are legit NET POSITIVE posts on this sub telling women to “unpack the transphobic root of their aversion to penises” even though many of us have spent our entire fucking lives coming to terms with our attraction towards female sexual organs, so I’m not really buying the TERF allegations when this entire thread is filled will people provoking women (whether trans or straight!) into defending what is a 100% natural sexual preference. My god, what if I went to trans spaces and told people that they were shallow for committing to gender reaffirming surgery because it’s “not the genitals that count”. That may be true for some, but I shudder to think that there are comments routinely posted on this sub berating lesbians as transphobic for not liking dick. The moderation has made it clear that these posts are 100% acceptable, despite the glaringly obvious bigotry. It’s frankly gross.
