(There is no conclusive evidence that homosexuality is genetic by the way).

There is conclusive evidence that homosexuality is to at least some sizeable degree genetic, and conclusive evidence that to at least some degree that it is "environmental" in the sense of, formed/affected by conditions in the womb before birth-- not "environmental" in the sense of, say, something you could get bullied into.

Like most human mental conditions and behaviors,the science is not yet settled on homosexuality's causes. It is not homophobic to say that.

There's a difference between saying "the science is not yet settled" and "there is no evidence of genetic basis for sexual orientation." Julie Bindel has claimed the latter, not just the former. I do agree with you that the science is not settled.
