Oh wow, they finally did. Good.

HRC is such a corrupt organization. Bet they only fired him because (some of) his corrupt and bigoted actions were starting to attract negative attention.

In case anyone was curious, Alphonso David is also the person who testified at the same US Congressional hearing that Abigail Shrier did. Posts about it:

edit: Axios article about his firing suggests that he is planning to sue HRC:

What he's saying: David said in a statement posted to Twitter at midnight that the HRC should "expect a legal challenge," accusing the group of "unjustly" providing "notice of termination to me in order to end my fight for the integrity of the review process."

While it's good they did this, it doesn't change that HRC has been hijacked by the TQ+. I was a field volunteer for the Human Rights Campaign Fund thirty years ago. These days, I wouldn't give them a dollar.

It's interesting that transactivists used to despise HRC. They used to bitch about it on r/ainbow.

They've pretty much captured every LGB organisation now sadly, especially those with high levels of funding.

It’s about time, but the damage is already done. HRC has shown itself to be a corrupt organisation and they only sacked Alphonso David because of external pressure. They would have kept him on if they could get away with it. Same reason they got rid of Andrew Cuomo now despite the establishment worshipping him and sucking his dick last year.

They appear to operate as an extension of the Democratic Party. About 2/5 of their budget goes to federal lobbying, 2/5 to "member education" (which looks to be voting related activities supporting Democratic candidates based on their website,) and 1/5 is P.R.

I don't think any of the Cuomosexuals anticipated Cuomo's party turning on him. Covid didn't work out the way they thought and I think they needed to get rid of him before one of his many Covid-19 scandals finally blows up.

There are also rumors going around that Kamala Harris sees Cuomo as her main competition for the 2024 presidential nomination, so she conspired to have him removed from office. She is almost universally unpopular and could lose to basically anyone at this point, so there's some substance to that accusation.

The HRC is supposed to be completely unaffiliated with any of the political parties.

Cuomo was popular with the establishment last year because he locked down New York and had anyone violating the lockdowns arrested. He was also fiercely critical of Trump's handling of the pandemic. Ironically, Trump tried to close the international borders when the pandemic began, but Cuomo and his ilk called Trump racist for doing it. Then Trump decided to lock down America and only decided to oppose the lockdowns when they were destroying America’s economy, which was one of the only things good about Trump. But while the establishment was worshiping Cuomo, Cuomo was putting COVID infected patients in nursing homes, which are full of people vulnerable to not just Covid but also the common flu.

Kamala Harris is so unbelievably popular, I bet Joe Biden picked her so it would be harder to get rid of him before 2024.

She's simultaneously a smoke screen and a threat. She's so inspirational they trot her out to cover for things like breaking the withdrawal agreement with the Taliban, bombing campaigns in Syria, allowing drug and human trafficking on the Southern border, and so on.

The threat... you hate Biden? Hmm? You want things to get worse, then? Shut up.

As for the HRC, what normally happens with charities (especially lobbying groups) is they'll form a symbiotic relationship with one of the national parties. National politicians funnel them party donors, federal grants, every once in a while actual legislation (!) in exchange for volunteers and a little funding for their own party's down ballot candidates. This cycle repeats over and over until the lobbying group and their patron political party merge into one cohesive entity, only separate on paper.
