    Indeed. Although, ever since I have started watching this scandal unfold in the UK, I have began to wonder whether not having any sort of public news source to hold accountable, such as the BBC, might be severely limiting the discourse around this topic here in the US. I hear lots of people grouse about paying their licenses and whatnot to the BBC, but honestly, the license provides an incentive for people to call out the BBC on its bullshit. There is no such accountability for the giant media companies privately owned by billionaires in the US...

    Women are planning to start refusing to pay their BBC licences in protest of the BBC's complicity in TRA bullshit.

    Kinda sounds like people are doing this already to some extent. I scrolled by some Twitter threads, while looking for other content, that had detailed instructions on how to avoid getting in trouble for it, lol.
