Lol my gf (43) and I (38) were talking about this yesterday! How awkward we felt in locker rooms, after I said I've always felt awkward in women's restrooms as a butch. She said it's weird how "trans women" WANT to make women feel awkward, whereas we (lesbians) want to avoid making women (including ourselves) feel awkward.

WE CAN TELL. WE CAN ALWAYS TELL.

Lesbians are women. Trans women are men. Men are far, far more likely to commit sexually based crimes than women are. It should be pretty clear why women don't want trans women in these spaces, but are fine with lesbians.

Honestly I could understand why a straight woman might feel uncomfortable changing around me and wouldn't begrudge her that at all. I'd be open to alternative options like a private stall or a separate changing area or something if there were an issue. I would never want to make a woman feel uncomfortable about potentially being sized-up sexually in a vulnerable situation like that.

Damn, straight women have lesbians WHIPPED. If I was asked to move to another space because my homosexuality was bothering other men, I'd never come back to such a place.

Eh, it's something about the universal female experience of constantly being on guard for threats of sexual violence. I'd have a lot of empathy for a woman who feels uncomfortable undressing around someone who may be viewing her sexually. I can't say I've ever had it come up, though, especially because I (along with every other lesbian I know tbh) go out of my way to not be leering at women in locker rooms or what have you.

Is it accurate to say that these two are males doing woman face?

If so, they are no different from other predatory men who take pleasure in denigrating women.
