I think I've seen "no faggots" once or twice, but I mostly see "no men" from the type of guy who is looking for "CD/TV/TS" but then also slides into the inboxes of twinks.

I've also had guys try and get me to pay to sleep with their "female roommate" on Grindr (aka, pimps trying to solicit and exploit women).

Yeah and the problem is these people agressively encourage the idea that these guys can be straight. I specifically know a guy who says he mostly dates straight guys. If you say his boyfriend of the week is gay he will argue with you. He doesn't seem to have any dysphoria but calls himself non-binary. Thing is he is really attractive and really fit so he can pull basically anyone he wants. It feels like he just wants to fuck around with gays in denial and makes them feel better about it by calling them straight...

Nby is an easy way of getting away from labels and the gender stereotypes and thus treatment associated with them at a limited level(limited to effect the treatment from those who buy into it). That's what I think it was originally created for, but it's a double-edged sword in that it's also an easy way to deny reality, whether they want to pretend to be Straight, Gay, or Bi. And that's what a lot of nbys use it for that I consider negative. It's a lot like transing in both those ways.

This guy is extremely easy to read as gay and he doesn't care but clearly seems to be using it to use very masculine "straight" men who think they are straight.

Like his type is 6'6" gym rat and "straight" so he dies his hair pink and says he is NB and pulls these guys for X weeks then dumps them because they are crazy in some way. The sad thing is he isn't wrong but I can't figure out yet if he knows completely what he's doing or if he started buying his own propaganda.

I’m shocked and losing what little faith I had left faith in mankind after reading this.

It's funny how MtFs constantly reiterate about how the true and honest women they say they are only to hang around gay dating apps.

Oh, the irony!

What the fuck?

Yeah, even after I explained that I'm strictly dickly he still insisted I "try it." He didn't even mention her on his profile, just in the chat.

I feel like there are much easier ways for straight men to meet straight women, but these people have to make it needlessly complicated for no reason.

We often talk about HER/giggle but I haven’t seen many comments about the homophobia on Grindr. What homophobia have you noticed on Grindr?
