The funny thing is that most of the ppl in support of the bridesmaid seem to be laboring under the impression that the bride's dad is going to be screaming anti trans rhetoric while beating the shit out of this kid for the entire event. My thoughts are "would the dad even notice ?...would he really care, given that it is a pretty big day, probably going to be family he wants to catch up with.....also, maybe he isn't all down with the trans stuff, but he probably has a filter and a sense of decorum and isn't actively going to make a scene at his daughters wedding." Those are crazy thoughts, silly me.

The whole thing highlights the extent to what trans and trans adjacent people think the world revolves around them. This woman cannot conceive of a place where the kid isn't the center of attention simply do to the fact that the kid is trans and as such will suck all the oxygen out of the room with the wonders of transhood. Pssst, lady, nobody at that wedding will give a single stinky shit.
