The ultimate goal of Queer Theory and those who want to apply it in the real world is the destruction/subversion of all sexual norms and boundaries. Duke professor Kathy Rudy is questioning the taboo around bestiality. In other words, they want to throw the ethics of competent consent out the window. The TQ+ seem determined to prove conservatives right on all their slippery slope arguments.

It's no surprise that the r/lgbt subreddit had a stickied post for a long time about how no posts were allowed by people trying to normalize pedophilia. That just goes to show that they're aware that that impulse exists among their subscribers.

Today I was thinking about how the wildly popular Call me by your name is just a grooming story. And everyone was okay with it.

I've seen people on this sub defend it. I had a topic about age gaps in homosexual relationships and mentioned how everyone seems to ignore uncomfortable age gaps in homosexual relationships, using Call Me By Your Name as an example, and quite a few people said it was okay.

Then the same people are like "I wonder why some people/societies are homophobic. I can't come up with any reasons."

I saw that!! I was kind of amazed, too.

I do remember a couple people defending it because the age of consent laws were way lower in their country/province/state/whatever. But I don't think that's okay, either.
