Okay, as someone currently planning a wedding, I can assure you of one thing. If you voluntarily have a second wedding to affirm your partner’s new gender identity, you are either mentally ill or in an abusive relationship. There are no other reasons anyone would willingly agree to go through such an expensive, time-consuming, and stressful event a second time with the same person.

I recently explained to a newly out lesbian that if her husband came out as a trans woman, he'd be considered a transbian, and people would call her transphobic if she proceeded with the divorce. She was like huh?? I was like yeah... he could "transition" to become your trans wife.

I can't believe people don't understand this shit. Straight "cis" people are opting out of the majority to become minorities and whine about discrimination.

Same feeling, surprised and glad to see her back! It's awful how gender critical people are targeted- some trans person was spreading tips on how to get people banned, a lot of dirty tricks. I guess Vanessa will be extra careful now- it's understandable how a person could lose their cool and then get banned- "She misgendered me!" and boom, you're gone. And the T activists will laugh and titter about it- they're not really offended, they just fight dirty.

Speaking of Vloggers, Karen of "You're Kidding, Right?" is a master class at keeping her cool and speaking eloquently without giving the crazies any ammo to ban her. And now I see that Karen is actually getting ads before her videos from the algorithm- this means she must be doing good numbers. Google/YT is loath to place ads near "controversial" content so.. maybe the climate is changing and GC viewpoints are not quite as censored as they have been.

He might have chosen a woman with self-esteem problems because easier to control and to make her do what she liked. Make have planned out all this thing, about coming out as trans after marrying her. It's sad. Some woman totally tolerate anything. I know a woman who stayed with her husband after he molested a 10 years old girl (the 10 years old being me)

Honestly I just wonder what Jen really thinks of all of this. It was pretty clear that Kristen had a screwed up dynamic with her husband even before he got on the trans train, so yeah, while I didn't picture the dude literally trying to morph into a weirdly infantilized copy of her I am not shocked she's going along with it. But I'm trying to imagine how I'd feel if my close friend was in a relationship like this and I was expected to sumach hearing her call herself "queer" and watching this bizarre charade, and not only being okay with it but actively supporting it. Especially if I'd tied my employment to this insanity (did Jen know before they left buzzfeed?). Either she has brain breaking levels of cognitive dissonance she's ignoring, or it must be driving her nuts.
