They always act like everyone has a gender identity when that's just not true. Most people just do stuff they like and don't do stuff they don't like. Or begrudgingly do stuff they don't like because society will not be kind if they don't do it. Almost like most people just act like human beings with a variety of interests and tastes and aren't bound to archaic gender roles that should have been killed off long ago.

People who have a gender identity are a small, small percentage of the population. I don't think people with dysphoria have a gender identity either, their dysphoria is fundamentally about their sex, not their gender. Otherwise they wouldn't bother with all the cosmetic procedures.

I still do not understand how people are supposed to be attracted to someone else's internal feelings about themselves. It makes absolutely no fucking sense no matter how much these people try to explain it.

How confusing must it be to be a kid these days. Imagine being a teenager and having to figure out those 5 stupid things that make no logical sense.

It was difficult enough being full of hormones, being a girl or a boy and figuring out/dealing with if you are hetero, gay or bi.

No wonder these kids don't even know how to read and are upset all the time, they are too confused about everything.

The sad thing is when I was a teen on tumblr, we were making those things up! I remember when romantic attraction vs sexual attraction discourse was starting on that hellsite. It was one of the things that helped me realize I wasn't straight, I had romantic feelings for women but only saw men as an option sexually because obviously women have to have sex with men (even if I didn't enjoy it, because no women enjoy sex with men, it's simply part of our womanly duties--seriously I wish we'd normalize women enjoying and desiring sex with men, I didn't have any female friends/relatives who talked about enjoying sex with their male partners until I was in uni soI really just thought all women hated having sex w men but put up with it!! Such an unhealthy dynamic for everyone's sexuality).

But it was such an unhealthy and untenable identity because it was based on me cutting up my attraction and allowed me to not have to examine my attraction to women and lack of attraction to men and hide behind "being a liberated slt owning my sexuality while also having romantic feelings for women and writing it off as 'qeer platonic feelings/not serious'".

Sometimes I feel bad about how much tumblr discourse has taken over mainstream political thought and discussions. Sorry Gen Z, if I'd known as an angsty teen that my generation's emo/tumblr phase was gonna have this long-term impact, I woulda just stuck with the haircut and not spread the genderwoo propoganda 😥

I've always felt so bizarre to separate the emotional from the sexual attraction. Plus, they're kids!!! They don't know what it's like to feel physical attraction....

Society basically forgot platonic love is a thing and decided to label it as emotional attraction. At least that's what I think it is.

It also explains why 2 people aren't allowed to be close friends in any book, TV show, or movie without people screaming about the writers ship baiting or whatever other nonsense.

Kids are going to be so fucked up.

A friend and I had a long talk about this once. I was saying I thought that there was too much emphasis put on sexual/romantic attraction in general. And that was causing people to forget that platonic affection exists.

Why there's a brain icon in the 'gender disphoria' section? Brains don't have gender, this shite is pseudoscientific garbage.

Also 'physical attraction': does that include primary sex characteristics? If it does so the whole 'genital preference' garbage made up by TRAs is bullshit by their own admission.

At least the gender unicorn had hooves. This elephant has human hands and feet for some reason.

Gender identity and the like is like this mystical essence that people have. Gendered souls and shit. It’s religious propaganda.

WTF is "gender expression"?

Clothes, hairstyle etc. If you like having short hair, that means you're a boy. Remember what Elliot Page said?

Stupid shit like this is what will cause my rampage. See the news soon for me screaming at imaginary gender elephants. I have lost all sense of reality now.

Fucking Canada. I guess the 'upgraded' elephant is supposed to reflect that sex is 'assigned'. Look how 'other/intersex' (wtf is 'other', anyway) is 'in-between' the gender binary, as though people with DSDs aren't male or female. Ignorant and stigmatising.

How is 'emotional attraction' related to gender?

How many kids' takeaway from this will be, rather than the intended trans-indoctrination:

"Oh, cool! I can be... elephant-gender!" :)
