I imagine they just mean they don't support them, for whatever reason.

I don't believe in gender ideology. I don't believe in astrology. Gender ideology and astrology are both things that exist and are reasonably well documented, but I don't think there's any value in either belief.

People who don't believe in same sex relationships, gay marriage etc. are not doubting the existence of these things in a similar way to someone who doesn't believe in the tooth fairy or Father Christmas, they are just disagreeing with them.

Should people be more careful in their choice of words? Perhaps. But the usual refrain of 'WeLl it'S nOT A qUesTIoN OF beLiEF' helps nobody.

It means they don’t agree with people being in same sex relationships.

That they don't agree with them/their agenda or whatever. It's not literally "not believing".

Picturing themselves in a relationship of a romantic or sexual nature with a member of the same sex makes them feel uncomfortable.

Picturing other people of the same sex in a romantic or sexual nature makes them feel uncomfortable.

So they have an unfavorable opinion of, and do not agree with nor want, people having or being in same sex relationships.

Maybe they literally believe that it's not possible to be attracted to the same sex. Someone I know said that lesbians don't exist. A lot of people think being attracted the same sex unnatural and that people just choose to be that way. That could be why.

I think some people think it's some kind of fetish that people have been conditioned into having. That's probably why it's so easy for them to lump it with the actual fetishes and call for an end to the whole lgbtq+. It doesn't help that people with fetishes now say they were "born that way". Like, yeah sure- you were born getting a sexual rise from wearing ski gloves, a toboggan hat, and a honking clown nose, somehow. I would care a lot less if people like that could admit it was something acquired during their lives and not tie it in with SSA.

And yeah, I encountered many different people who sounded like they didn't believe lesbians, gay males, and bisexuals exist at all.

To my first point, I should add that there are also people, who not only believe SSA doesn't exist, but believe LGB(especially LG) put active, sustained effort into refraining from opposite-sex relationships to pursue same-sex ones. Like it's some sort of rebellious act, meant to stymie "normal" people and undermine the concept of the nuclear family, the church, society or something else. Which can make them very indignant. It really is not seen as a real thing for these people. Subsequently, the term "Sexual Orientation" is completely redundant to them since they believe there is no other way people can be oriented.

They mean in their religion of narcissism and psychopathic inceldom.

It means they are morally opposed to same-sex sex. It's just an indirect way of saying it.

They don't believe same-sex relationships are acceptable.

They don't believe relationships are based on bodies, genitalia or sex. They think that's just a detail that no one should ask about because it's private and none of your business, and if you're attracted to people it's because they're so pretty in their filtered and photoshopped pictures, and really, that's what matters. Oh plus you get along when you text and like the same netflix or whatever.

Gender ID is more like a religion than anything else so they view anything somewhat related through that religious lense. Sexuality directly contradicts their beliefs so they need to disbelieve reality in order to continue believing their gender religion.

I think they mean that they don't think same sex relationships can work out or have a future, similarly to opposite sex relationships.
