"Fuck public media" you say? Why not just "fuck the public"?

What a strange and myopic perspective. Public assets are crucial to the health of any society. Public media is meant to be serving the interests of the people. Of course there may be corruption & failure to live up to this ideal, but that's what maintenance is for. That's what participation is for. Don't torch one of the few mechanisms meant to hold leaders to account & serve the public interest - - work to improve it!

public media is trash. They will never critique the party that supports them. Both the bbc and npr are hopelessly partisan. Tax payers should not be forced to pay for a news outlet that propagandizes against them. Also, there are thousands of private media outlets.

And you think those private media organisations will have the public interest at heart? Seriously...

Push for reform of your public assets. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

No one expects them to. I dont need a media conglomerate to tell me what’s right and wrong. Think for yourself.
