I get your point, but have you ever played the Sims before?

The entire point is that you have more or less total control over everyone. Everyone is whatever sexual orientation you want them to be at any given moment.

Like, if you want your sim to be gay, just don't let him kiss women.

This is why I have a mod that determines every generated sim's sexuality. And I can pick my own sim's, too. So that way he can reject any woman's wooing, like an actual gay man would.

Epic. A feature like this should by default be in this and other games(like RPGs) considering how prevalent Everyone Is Bi is. I think it's kinda lazy and thoughtless when realistic sexuality or individual preferences are skipped over in favour of an easier code-able 'everyone can like anyone or win anyone over, all you need is time to turn them.' pansexual perspective. When irl some people just can never be turned, and others who can be turned can also go in the other direction over time (like when someone is incompatible or too aggressive).

Gaming being heavily intertwined with woke/trans culture nowadays- I wonder how many young naive trans apologists are so influenced by this kind of convenient depiction of human attraction that they project it onto the real world as if it was natural law. So now they have not the slightest clue how to deal with others in a reasonable way that respects their boundaries and they think this is somehow acceptable to propagate.

Actually, the Mass Effect series did this really well. Depending if you played a male or female Shepard, different people would be interested in you. Most of the romances are straight, but Liara and Kayden are bisexual and in the third game, there is a lesbian and a gay man that only will be interested in you if you play as the "right" sex. You can't turn them, they just won't be interested in you. It still suffers from the EA-romance formula, but it respects the characters' sexualities.

That sounds pretty interesting. I haven't played Mass Effect before; I'll have to check it out.
