    This is common in the west too especially for bi guys. I know a group who doesnt know im bi because one of the women in this group is very loud and open about being bi (while in a straight relationship, but she prefers women more) is also very loud about how being bi is good if your a girl and disgusting if your a guy. The majority of the group agrees.

    If it's any consolation, their support for "bisexual girls" really only extends to some sort of twisted sexual fantasy. Their support is skin deep. They only think that's cool because they might get laid from two freaky bi college girls like they saw in porn.

    Yea it's a sexual fetishation on the part of the men. For women though the most common thing I hear is bi men aren't manly enough to be with them.

    It's just that some women are a little (to put it lightly) too much concerned about their partners sexual orientation. It's not even about masculinity that much, but the fear of being replaced/cheated by a man. The question 'is my husband gay' is as asked asit is on google for this reason.

    But again, the likelihood of a bissexual man abandoning their wife to be with another man is... very slim at best, so I don't know if such a thing warrants such concern.
