I seriously can't get parents who like trans son over gay masculine one. My mother has had hard time accepting my homosexuality (she wanted a son in law and grandchildren, it's quite disappointing to have your only daughter turning ous as a childfree dyke ahah) and only recently she has been able to really being comfortable about it, and told me she's glad I'm normally feminine and not masculine, otherwise she would have had hard time if I were stereotypically lesbian. Yet, some parents would rather pretend their kids is the opposite sex and have them messing up their bodies. Go figure

Ah, I've heard that thing from parents too when I worked in a daycare. "it's okay if my child is different as long as he/she doesn't look different."
