This is my last week at my current job, I'm moving out next week, my sister will stay with me for the week after that, and then I'm starting school early. New job will start the week after that. This is stressing me out lol, I'm usually so free.

I've been delaying taking my car into the shop because I just don't want to deal with it, LOL

Fairly new car, 2016. I changed jobs in late 2018 and now can walk to work, so I only drive it on the weekends to run errands, and can easily go 2-3 weeks between having to do so.

I've been driving a family member's car for months, plus the whole pandemic thing, so I've been neglecting my own car. Battery died, and it was about time to get it replaced anyway, so I just got a new one. That battery keeps dying too though.

Most recently, I drove it around for a solid hour after jumping it, so it was good and juiced up. Hooked up a solar panel charger to it to maintain things on the weekdays. Died after 4 days :(

I'm hoping I just ended up with a bad battery, or my wiring is shit or something. I've gotta get an oil change and have a mechanic check the fuel lines/gas tank/etc after sitting for so long, but I REALLY don't want to have to replace any parts like the alternator or something.

Haha this happened to me and it was the alternator. It wasn't that expensive to replace, maybe like $175 parts and labor.

Keep your fingers crossed for me that it's simple! Living in the bay area, I really can't afford to spend thousands of dollars to repair.
