I actually had to look up m-spec and swiftly fell down the rabbit hole of identities. I mean, what is this monstrosity?

DID is a disorder that develops when a very young child goes through extreme trauma over a prolonged amount of time, so that person needs a stable home, people who love her/him and regular contact with a therapist to be able to heal. What they don't need is to be sucked down a rabbit hole like this.

Oh yeah; These extensive Prince, Princess, and Royal constellations they got going on there sounds like the escapist fantasy world lore that an anxious kid might be drawn into or develop to disconnect from life.

Silver lining: these kids are learning their Latin and Greek prefixes, which will be useful if they go on to study medicine or law ⛅

Touch of grey: can't they just have hobbies? Lecturing strangers on the internet about your identity as a Mushroom Prince or an Academic Prince is a waste of your teen years.

You mean good ones? Because I think this is their hobby. I don't think one would edit hundreds of pages of this stuff if they weren't deriving something from it.

Haha I do believe you are right.

Says something when I'm stuck looking back to the good old days when the kids were writing weird erotic fan fiction on Live Journal instead of LARPing gender identities. I wonder if they battle each other?
