I listened to Buck Angels interview on the Gender a wider view, honestly I know he is supposed to be "one of the good ones " but he came across as deranged & manic. Final straw for me was when he was talking about how gay men enjoyed having sex with him & his vagina, because the vagina was made for penises. This sounded like an old school homophobe.

She's a fetishist.

They're all fetishists to one degree or another, and more importantly they're reality denialists. "You must validate my perception of reality or you are a bigot" is always going to be massively problematic, whether your transness comes from gender dysphoria or autogynephilia.

The gender dysphoria for some identifying as trans is the only true part. And if that was all they wanted others to acknowledge then that would be fine with me. I can't prove it one way or the other. But any further than that is where the denial of physical reality and language corruption begins, with the 'pronouns are rohypnol' type of thing that warp perceptions and weaken arguments. I mean, if they were being honest and productive with labels they would call themselves their own sex, stop using terms for the other sex, just label themselves Dysphoric Trans, and that would help us a lot against the people with the aggressive paraphilias, who use inaccurate labels as a cudgel.

There are no "good ones". Buck Angel thinks that the gay men in those porn videos liked giving her Australian kisses, but the fact is, those non-bisexual men were paid to do it, and a lot of actors in the porn industry are addicted to drugs so they would do anything to get these drugs. Also, Buck Angel works in and promotes the pornography industry. Which is worse than prostitution, because it’s prostitution with a camera.

Eh, I wouldn't say so.

The ones who work in prostitution (and no, I do not consider OnlyFans as being prostitution) have to deal with a lot of shit pornstars don't have to.

For instance, they 100% going to be paid for their services, because they're under a formal contract, which gives them some security. People who work in prostitution have no such luxury.

Also, pornstars don't have to deal with agressive or abusive clients, competition for prostitution points, pimps and so on.

Good points. But if you can get away from prostitution if you were a prostitution, you can put it all behind you. Whereas if you previously worked in porn, this videos of you in compromising positions are out there for anyone to see, and they are never going away.

Keyword: "if".

The ones who resort to prostitution in the first place have little to no formal education, so the chances of them leaving it behind are very slim.

The stigma of sex work is slowly diminishing, specially in liberal areas, which is not a surprise at all, as most mainstream productions now (aham, Sense8 and Elite) have softcore-level sex scenes. Also, the current influx of known figures doing OnlyFans has also played a factor into this.

But then again, I'm speaking from a different context than the US/Canada/UK one, so that might account for our difference in perspective.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m against both prostitution and porn. And I do see your point. It’s hard to get out of prostitution, especially if you’re in a foreign country.

Not true. Often producers lie to new porn stars about the scene being vanilla and direct the experienced actor to be move aggressive than was agreed upon, and the vast majority of porn is aggressive in some way.

But they can sue the studio in such cases, hell, there are already cases this is exactly what happened (and yes, I'm talking about the mainstream here).

But prostitution? Heh, good luck with that.

If a prostitute go out of their way to expose a client for such behaviour, they're going to be blacklisted (because in such circles outing clients is seen as unprofessional even by other prostitutes) at best and beaten to death at worst.

This is the equivalent of trying to sue a drug trafficker for bad business practices.

The mask slipped, lmao!

It's interesting how tone deaf homophobic some of these HSTS FtMs can be.

How is Buck Angel considered an HSTS when she thinks she's a gay man?

[–]Neo_Shadow_LurkerPronouns: I/Don't/Care 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

This will need some explaining: Buck is a pornstar who work(ed?)s with both males and females.

A few years back, he gave an interview saying that when he's performing with men he feels like he's having gay sex and that 'gay men' love his vagina. By the way, in this same occasion he vomited 'genital fetish' bs verbatim saying that's transphobic for gay men to deny FtMs sex base on their transgender status.

I fail to see how is he's so based as people say.

[–]DrMantisToboggan 14 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 0 fun15 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

She acknowledges that she's biologically a female, yet thinks she's having "gay" sex when men are fucking her. She sounds just as delusional as AGP transbians.

He calls himself transsexual and has made it clear that he wants to change his sex. Then he got old and woke.

[–]DimDroog 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

that 'gay men' love his vagina.

I had no idea he said that.

Pretty horrible.

A gay man wouldn't love vagina anymore than a straight woman.

It's extremely selfish to think this way.

She originally identified as a lesbian before transitioning, and is also interested in women. She could be bi, or her AAP could be so advanced that the person she's fucking isn't relevant since she only gets off thinking about her AAP.
