I wonder about the following part from the interview:

I was in a nine-year relationship in which I was thought of as a more male-bodied person, with a gay man. I love him so much, but we’ve been learning that as a trans woman, what I’m interested in is not necessarily reflected in a gay man. So we’ve had incredible conversations to redefine our relationship as friends.

Was it really Tommy who was not interested in being with a gay man anymore? Or was it actually that his husband wasn't into being married to a man with boobs, who is delusional enough to thing that he could become a woman? I mean ... you're never gonna fool any heterosexual men with that square lego-head and those shovel dredger hands, Tommy.

Chad indeed. If I had a boyfriend and he told me he was transitioning to become a "woman", I would just straight up end the relationship. No pun intended, I just don’t want to be in a pseudo-heterosexual relationship.
