No, Urban Tasmania is far from third world and very safe, though the more rural areas are a bit Appalachian. Tassie LGB activists did an amazing job of fighting the most conservative legislature in the country to get some of the most progressive laws in Australia. But now they’ve moved on to gender shit and have managed to get self ID legislation that they cannot be persuaded is harmful to women. Some lesbians firmly believe the lead activist is quite misogynistic but I can’t speak for that.

He got confused and thought Tasmania was a country in Africa. Possibly mixed it up with Tanzania.

I’ve heard about Tasmania’s record on gay rights. It is amazing how they went from criminalising male homosexuality up until 1997, to becoming the first state in Australia to legalise civil unions and the second to allow stepchild adoption in 2003. That’s a rapid turnaround in six years. The problem is, Tasmanians feel bad for their past homophobia, so they are overcompensating. And because they mistakenly believe that trans rights is a part of the gay rights umbrella, they support trans rights even when it doesn’t make sense. They see transsexuals are super-gays, or the people who fought for gay rights even though neither of those things are true. The politicians and the media meanwhile want to use gay rights and the guilt of Tasmanians to impose their transgender agenda on the population, because it’s profitable for the elites and it weakens the population by destroying our language. The only way to end this is for gay, lesbian and bisexual people to get together, speak up and push back against this, even if it will cause controversy and adversity. We’ve been through adversity before, we can do it again if we prepare for it. Because if we don’t, we’ll either stop existing or things will get so bad Tasmanians and the world in general will go back to hating us again.

this is the problem. it's not some sinister illuminati plot. they just literally do not know what theyre doing and theyre doing it out of kindness. the massive problem is theyre coming to our community and asking how they can redeem themselves and make it better...and we're the ones telling them TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS! and completely sidestepping all the gay/lesbian problems that need to be addressed. And they cant sustain this level of empathy indefinitely. Addressing wrongs to a minority isnt some infinite prostration thing where they apologize forever.

tasmania is a shit hole 3rd world country that's incredibly barbaric and a hell hole for gays and lesbians.

Tasmania and Lesbania are both in Europe, which has much higher standards of living than the rest of the world. Educate yourself!

Tasmania is 3 seconds away from Australia. Papua New Guinea is 1 second away from Australia. Papua New Guinea has literal witch burnings and punishment for witch craft. Just because you saw a white prime minister doesnt mean they have all the proper institutions to maintain civilization there. Theyre more like south africa: white core where universities teach quantum physics and wormhole theories, and outside the core is...witch burnings and setting vaginas on fire type of structure to their society.

Maybe if you extended your environment beyond the southern red states, you'd be more aware of the problems outside your small environment. There's more to life than a mcdonalds, a depressing shopping mall, a gas station and a church. Run back to tumbleweedfireflies and complain about how you're being persecuted by the gays and lesbians again while being offended at the mere mention of homophobia within the red states you support. Didnt you mention how you were offended once that someone mentioned people in southern states, grown men, literally hunt and murder gay teenagers, because that apparently ruins your victim narrative?
