    Being abused as a child does seem to have an effect later in life, these men have a much greater chance of being gay. See: Milo.

    The people who push this argument tend to engage in some interesting cognitive dissonance:

    • They disregard the fact that straight men are less likely to report sexual assault because they fear being seen as 'weak' by their peers, which yes, includes kids.
    • They do not discriminate between men that have been sexually abused by women and men that have been sexually abused by other men, treating any kind of sexual abuse as a 'risk factor' for growing as gay, which is a very... vague thesis, to say the least.
    • Also they ignore that a great deal of adult gay men were GNC in childhood, which is a factor that makes them more susceptible to bullying and, yes, sexual abuse. Male creeps like to go for effeminate male kids after all.
