My husband has AGP. He doesn’t think he’s a woman or want to transition or anything. He’s aware that it’s a sexual kink. He’s in his mid 30s so he missed all the pressures from the gender cult. I wonder what would have happened to him if he was younger and realizing his weird fetish today. I wonder if he would have been swept up by all this.

When I peaked a few months back and really started looking into how crazy the TRA are I was actually kinda happy to be able to put a name to the fetish. I had never heard of it. I read a bunch of Blanchards work and sent it to my husband to read. It’s so sad to know that people are damaging themselves permanently over a fetish thinking they are trans because trans is in vogue and AGP seems to be something no one wants to talk about. Or even admit that it exists.

Glad your husband did not get swept up in the transgender movement. I don't see it mentioned often on this sub, but from what I've read on r/askAGP, it seems like in many ways, the transgender movement is actually really harmful for autogynephiles as well as LGB people.

I agree. Especially because no one really talks about it in the mainstream. If you’re young and you don’t know what it is I could see being very confused and getting caught up with it. Then there’s all the trans people trying to convince everyone they are trans. On askAGP it seems like every other post is telling them that they are really trans. Unrelated but not surprising—Some people in the comments were saying that TRA want to get that sub shut down.
