Askgaybross has a big target painted on it for telling it like it is. It will be interesting to see if they manage to get it banned, which I imagine won't go well for them. Gay men who did not give a shit for lesbians losing their spaces to TRAs,may get peaked a bit.

No way they aren't ASTRO turfing those poll results

The trans/AHS/okbuddyhetero/etc brigade astroturfing? No, never! They wouldn't! They are the good guys!

I scanned the post history of the high-school student who posted that, and she has a long history of cutting and up and down mental health issues. It's a classic example of transition as a distraction from her real problems.

One of the comments:

Ops post history says they were in 8th grade a year ago. Literal children in here arguing with gay men about their sexuality. JFC.

This is where the brigade currently comes from: https://www.reddit.com/r/okbuddyhetero/comments/ohl6ws/trash_ass_sub/ Never heard of that sub before, but upvotes are in the thousands and the comments are vile TQ+-homophobia.

They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore, one of the top comments un ironically goes the “women also have assholes” route.

Will this shit ever be seen for what it is?

Also one of the comments is asking another one to remove a link to a post on that sub, because they just “digitally self-harmed” by reading it and it ruined their day. 50 upvotes. How the hell do these people function in day to day life?

How the hell do these people function in day to day life?

They don't.

"digitally self-harmed"? At this point being on social media at all is self-harming.

Someone send these kids outside pls

“women also have assholes”

Just to show how little they know about gay men.

Even strict tops like to suck dick, and hell, even bottom once in a while. These fucks are just projecting the hetero sexual dynamics they are used to into gay relationships.

Disgusting.

How the hell do these people function in day to day life?

Some are adults who don't, but many of them seem to be children.

Deadass saw someone say "We're homoSEXuals not homoGENDERuals" like dude sexual, as in, sexual act, not sex as in the biological kind... it genuinely amazes me how much stupidity someone can cram into a single sentence

This is an actual, genuine comment I saw on there. Like a real human person wrote this. And is saying we are the stupid ones. I think I need to go take a nap

Sometimes it fun to watch them go "He can't say that! He can't, can he?"

[–]hufflepuff-poet 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

What is a homosexual act and what does calling it "homosexual" tell us about the people involved in that act? It tells me that the sex involves people of the same-sex ie two males or two females having sex together. So the defining criteria for a homosexual act is that the people involved be the same BIOLOGICAL SEX not the same gender identity.

[–]ThrowMeAway2879 7 insightful - 4 fun7 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 4 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, but if a man has sex with a buff hairy hyper masculine trans man how can you even tell their sex?!? Answer me that!

Checkmate homosexuals!

[–]usehername 9 insightful - 4 fun9 insightful - 3 fun10 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

Lmao at this ironic comment from that thread:

What the fuck even is the point of having a sexual orientation if you're defining it as based on attraction to things you can't fucking perceive

Like a gender identity?

[–]WanderingWonderWizard Extraordinaire 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

By this guys own logic a homosexual is a person who probably just does one sexual act forever. Missionary only. None of that blasphemous doggy style here he’s a homosexual.

Hey, it took me a few tries to figure this out, so I think this information may be helpful for you:

There is a way to format quotes built-in to the website. You just have to type it like this (remove $s):

$>$ “Deadass saw someone say "We're homoSEXuals not homoGENDERuals" like dude

$$$blank line here$$$

$>$ sexual, as in, sexual act, not sex as in the biological kind...

The result looks like this:

“Deadass saw someone say "We're homoSEXuals not homoGENDERuals" like dude

sexual, as in, sexual act, not sex as in the biological kind...

Also, keep in mind that if you're writing a very long line that continues onto the next line without you hitting [Enter], there's no need to add the ">" again. The quote won't end until you put a blank line under it.

Jesus, they use the term Cis and Queer like good little TRA though don't they?

I wish they would make a back up sub here before it all goes down because frankly those freaks at AHS and LGBT are making it full time jobs to get them banned. It's going to happen sooner or later imho

[–]ThrowMeAway2879 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's not going to get banned. It's too large and well-known for that to happen. Instead it'll go private for half a day and then return with new moderators (probably from r/gaybros, r/askgaymen or r/askgaybrosOver30) who'll promise to "continue to foster the positive aspects of this sub but we are going to take a more pro-active stance against trolls and hate speech".

And from then on replying "No, of course not, I'm gay" to an FTM's "will you fuck me?" will be a bannable offense.

We have one! s/askgaybros

Fully agree with ThrowMeAway2879 though, gendercult infiltration is their goal.

Someone should tell them to make a backup here just in case they are forced to get new mods and start censoring themselves.

It happened to r/truelesbians. So sad to see my favorite subreddit banned.

Extremely insightful comment:

I usually dance around this in real life but I'm sick of the completely uncritical acceptance of queer theory and the implications of seeing sex and gender, and therefore sexual orientation, as "performative" and therefore changeable.

The only performance going on is Judith Butler's career as an academic grifter.

Even more I strongly dislike the casual use of the word "queer" by the same people who think that words that might possibly offend anyone must be avoided at all costs.

There's always been a tension between "he's gay so he's sufficiently low on the Privilege HierarchyTM for my positive regard" and "he's male so he's higher on the totem pole so fuck him" in this ideological space, but it seems like the latter position is winning out for more people.

"I hate people who generalize all women."

"Gay white men in general are the worst."

-two statements from a coworker, in the same conversation, in 2015, in a college town

Seeing that rhetoric become more common in the years since is fucked up.

That is an awesome comment. And, couldn't have put it better, the bolded part.
