That woman is an enemy of humankind. Seriously.

How does she have so much power?

Around the world, governments are rewriting laws to include this nebulous, circular term, "gender identity" in the legal definition of "sex." And scientists, corporations, NGOs, academia, etc., and ad nauseam, are also parroting this rubbish.

It's Upside Down World...

what is her "shtick"? Seriously, without trying to distort her words, what is she trying to say and why is she a problem. I've only ever heard of her.

She is the, let's say, 'creator'of Queer Theory.

It's no wonder you never heard of her, as even though her academic works have inspire all sorts of crazy people, her track record on the activism sphere is kind of tame.

i thought focault was the founder of queer theory. i dont exactly like him but he was a genius who created such a foundational work that all of western civilization's universities have no choice but to use him because his work is indispensable when it comes to understanding and studying all of history. But then on the side, he took 5 minutes of his time to create queer theory. His main work was "the archaeology of knowledge"..which is used as a guide to understand history. I've never heard of judith butler but im guessing she's some sort of post modernist.
