Trans Resistance MA

What exactly are they resisting? The government giving them basically everything they want?

LOL

Advocating for the safety, joy, and liberation of TQBIPOC.

And their mission statement:

Identify and respond to transphobic and cissexist actions, including violence and systemic oppression, through resistance.

The pictures on their site really tell the story though.

…they’re in one of the most liberal cities in one of the most liberal regions of the country. They have the media and the ruling political party on their side. They’re able to bully a long-standing gay group into disbanding instead of dealing with their bullshit. What exactly are they resisting?

They take things like this over, they demand they be "centered", they want it all and they want it now. The good part of this disbanding of Pride Boston is this feeling of "You're right. We tried, guess we failed to meet your demands standards . Here, you try it. You see how easy it is. Best of luck." These people love righteous anger and tearing things down, let's see the trans revolutionaries do the million little things needed to organize something like a city parade.

I may be totally wrong, but my prediction is that this new iteration of pride will get some initial momentum, but the personalities making the demands will be unable to maintain it long-term and it will ultimately fail.

There is no systemic oppression against trans people. Everything in the system works in their favor.

As words no longer mean anything, I am not sure what "cissexist" even is -- sexism by or against NORMAL people?

Sexism, bias against someone because of their sex -- most often experienced by women but not exclusively -- is a huge part of the Trans Agenda. Every Trans Train Fool is a hardcore sexist. But then.... nothing they say makes sense.

I hope that this peaks more GLB people in New England and encourages them to stand up for themselves. We'll just have to wait and see.

Here's Boston Pride's announcement on their website: https://archive.ph/FawQr

Reminds me of what WV posted recently about another city: https://saidit.net/s/LGBDropTheT/comments/809j/rather_than_cave_to_the_demands_of_tq_philly

Are Pride organizers in the USA getting so fed up with colonization that they're just disbanding now???

Maybe this means LGBAllianceUSA can start picking up steam and creating offshoots in various cities.

I think that's what's happening.

An old friend is a prominent LGB activist in one of the most LGB-identified cities in the US. After initially being OK with the rest of the Alphabet because she bought into them gluing themselves to gay rights, she's now fed the F up with the T, Q, etc.

Tellingly though, both of the articles talking about the disbanding of these pride organisations have used the same acronym, TQBIPOC.

The TQ movement is a Marxist wrecking ball.

Even marxists want nothing to do with them lol

Yeah, the TQ movement's belief system seems to follow a specific flavor of postmodernism, as opposed to just Marxism in general.

First Philadelphia pride , Now Boston. Which city is next ?

As much as I don't like it, it's better for these organizations to dissolve rather than be taken over by activists.

Don't be sad

This could be the beginning of a new movement that's not polluted with "Queer" politics.

I like your perspective. I’m hopeful we’ll see changes occurring but I’m fearful that things are going to get worse before they get better.

The annual celebration of LGBTQ lives, which grew out of the June 1969 Stonewall uprising in New York, has become the largest single-day parade in New England and provides a huge economic boost to Boston.

Sounds like there's a lot of money involved in this. I'm glad Boston Pride didn't cave.

“I’m confident that there’s going to be a new form of a parade, because Trans Resistance is already happening.”

Lol. Trans resistance against what? The transgender rights movement is supported by conservative Christian homophobes and liberal homophobic idealogues alike. And there are way more transgender-identified people than there are LGB... people who identify as T or Q make up the majority of "LGBTQ+ people" overall.
