Wait, I've never heard "doppelbanger".

Is that when you're gonna have sex with someone who looks so much like you they could be your doppelganger? If so, I've actually had many a conversation with friends about whether we would do so ... straight, bi, and gay.

We've also delved into what it might mean to ourselves if we had sex with our own clone.

We just never had a word for any of it.

Oh my god, that's funny. Many years ago I was dating someone I had a huge crush on, and once we were making out. I stopped and said, "You know what's funny? and as if he had read my mind said "That we look like each other?" 😅 It sort of killed the mood, our fling sort of dwindled after that. We didn't have the word either!

Oh god, now I'm sorta cringing internally. I used to think that my brother and his wife looked more like siblings than he and I do. I hope that conversation/idea never came up for them, LOL

LMAO, I love that, "doppelbanger".

Would I be breaking code to text my brother-from-another-mother to tell him there's actually a word for it?

Pretty sure having sex with your own clone falls under the masturbation banner???

You can tell someone is straight when they use gay male terms to describe all LGBT activity. They never co-op bi or lesbian terms.

Now you mention it, that is definitely a common theme in my previous interactions!

I can't think of any that aren't negative, just as well straight people don't know them.

Idk if “hooking up” began as a gay phrase, but straight people have started throwing that word around instead of “making out” and oh boy the number of near spit takes i have done.
