A rape cult. Her instantly turning red every time she mentions "girldick" was a submission response. Her shaky and raspy voice, her dead eyes, the look on her face when she describes how much "time and work" it took to "unlearn that genitals = gender". Very disturbing. I forced myself to watch and re-watch the whole thing, but I felt like the guy from Clockwork Orange.

up till the age of twenty I had no interest in dating people who had different genitals than me

Cool. Stop there. It’s fine, you’re a lesbian and start to get over what makes you think you need to work through that.

but then when I was 21 I moved into this queer commune

…weird way of saying I joined a cult / got conversion therapy.

and I wanted to unlink this concepts, because I wanted to be able to respect and see all of the trans people around me

Sucking dick really isn’t needed to respect people. And why would want to respect the people trying to make a lesbian suck dick, anyway?

And once I started doing that and was able to think about dick in isolation not connected to men…I started to feel like…that would feel good tho, huh.

Uh.

Sorry for that dissection, but it really pisses me off.

At the same time I wonder how women like her even „work“…there’s clearly a lot going on there, so I can’t feel anything but sorry for her, but I’m not homosexual because penises make me vomit or something - I’m homosexual because I exclusively feel attracted to women as a whole and of course the genitals they come with. There’s nothing to dissect here. I don’t hold any notions and prejudices against dicks or any other male sex characteristics, they simply do jack shit for me. It’s what 50 percent of the world possesses and these 50 percent simply aren’t interesting to me in a sexual / romantic manner. It’s how I’ve always felt. So tying myself into knots to think about dicks in “isolation not connected to men” won’t do shit, because at the end of the day wether the dick floats in space or is connected to a woman’s forehead, it won’t change how my body responds to it.
So unless you could brainwash me into thinking a dick is an actual pussy, nothing is able to change that. I guess what weirds me out is how it’s never even mentioned what homosexual women are attracted to and solely focused on what they aren’t - sure shouldn’t come as a surprise - but it’s irritating how it’s never mentioned even apart from this conversion therapy bullshit in normal discussions about sexuality. It’s always focused on being “repulsed” by one thing and not you know feeling exclusively attracted to the other.

Absolutely how I feel (with obvious substitutions). I don't have a problem with female genitalia, certainly zero problem with women. I'm just not sexually or romantically interested, full stop. But I'll tell you, I find women who are happy and proud being women much more compelling than "afabs" trying to be something they are not.

This! It's not just dick, it's the whole ass male attached to it. We're not attracted to the opposite sex. Even if your dick fell off in some sort of hypothetical accident (they always use this ridiculous scenario), I'm still not attracted to you cause you're a MALE

I recently read a book about NXIVM. The erosion of sexual boundaries through constant peer-pressure was how women got drawn into it. Once they were in, the higher-ups would get some kind of blackmail on them to keep them there. (Meanwhile, everything would escalate exponentionally for the women trapped inside.)

Watch this girl talk about being pressured into sexually accepting men and keep in the mind the knowledge that her refusing would result in her being exiled and having her reputation trashed. Tell me this isn’t a fuckin’ cult.

What book was that?

Don’t Call it a Cult by Sarah Berman. It is an absolutely wild ride.

What was the book? I think cults are fascinating

"Queer commune" sounds absolutely horrible. You hear that and you know it's a trans sex cult with brainwashing, rape, etc.

Yeah, and the people who seek out those situations are generally either lost people who are easy to manipulate or fucked up people who want to manipulate others.

I think I'd rather be homeless.

She sounds broken. I wouldn't be surprised if this conversion therapy camp used both physical and emotional abuse on her.

Sad and disturbing what the LGBTQ "community" has done to young same sex attracted people. I hope this girl finds a way out of this cult and learns self worth.

She sounds like she is about to cry, and my heart breaks for her...💔

[–][deleted] 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This is disturbing. I'm really afraid for the future of young homosexuals.

“I was living with all trans people and learning a lot of… shit.”

Indeed, poor child. Indeed.

She sounds broken, you can hear the tension in her throat, and her eyes are dead.

Some extreme Jonestown level of cult behavior is going on here

God, I love her eyes. I'm a sucker for giant eyes. Too bad she's an idiot. The voice is weird. Like she sounds masculine or tense.

[–][deleted] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

She looks sad when she gets to the bit where she talks about changing her genital preference. Like she hasn't really processed what's going on there.
