Im pan-romantic ace and I have a genital preference. Tmi but I prefer penis whether is boy, girl, or enby penis.

That's a whole lot of words for straight woman.

Then there's this comment:

Genital preferences aren't the problem. It's just a factor like everything else (height, weight, etc.). Nothing transphobic about it. The problem is when someone won't date trans people regardless of genitals. The way I see it if there are two externally physically identical girls, one cis and one trans (post op),and dating the trans one is off the table just because they're trans, that's transphobic.

These people really do believe their post-op genitals are the same as the real thing. They're nuts.

Exactly. haha

I dunno if she's actually 12, though I wouldn't be surprised, but this is a bit too much. The TRAs are still going to deny that transgenderism is a social contagion. Zoomers and the generation following them are doomed

Oh, great, crumbs of acceptance from our wise, generous overlords:

I do not expect every cis gay man or even gay trans man to like my genitals."

"I don't expect EVERY gay man to act against his own sexual orientation! Just some!" I thought your title was an exaggeration but apparently not. This stuff reads like satire.

I wanted to have this discussion outside of toxic places like twitter and tiktok.

Yup, nothing toxic about Reddit. Lol.

Liking certain genitalia is as valid as sexual orientation,

Its not a sexual orientation, its just "like one"

but the "Oh I won't have sex with any trans people because I put them all in a box" are the superstraights of genital preferences (Well they are the same people) and have to ruin it for everyone with their made up sexualities to ostracise certain groups of people, just like saying you're "asiansexual" will never be a valid sexuality

Homosexuals are made up sexualities I guess.

This is why we can never stop pushing back on the term genital preference because those who say " its okay to have gential preferences" expect you to be okay with the Mengele esque monstrosities that plastic surgeons create. Honestly I'd rather eat out a woman's vagina than suck on a pale tube of arm sausage.

I can't view this because Reddit wants me to download the app. I'll go ahead and say that if this girl is actually 12, this is a "vegan cat" scenario. She's in sixth grade.

Instead of critiquing the logical fallacies of a girl who just started learning algebra, you need to look at where she's getting this from and why. What is her post history?

I don't know her actual age but this is her nonsense in its entirety:

I am trans dont know a label yet but maybe nonbinary trans boy.

I do not expect every cis gay man or even gay trans man to like my genitals.

Of course if you frame it as “you just want trans people to have cis bodies” you can make it seem transphobic. But it you virw it from “I get pleasure and increased arousal from this genitalia” its not a problem.

I have heard “why are you reducing someone down to their genitals”. I know it sucks especially as an ace person, but sex is important to many people. People value sex with genitals they prefer. That’s it. Its kinda like the “does size matter debate”. To some it does and you cant change that. Find people where it doesn’t matter.

I also don’t see it as a big issue. If they see a trans man as a man, but know they’re sex life would be affected because they’re not turned on my afab genitalia that’s okay. That’s not transphobia.

twitter and tiktok.

Hopefully web 3.0 does away with social media. She's ace because she hasn't really hit puberty yet.

Where are the adults in this girl's life? When I was 12 I had started studying for confirmation, the Evangelical and Baptist kids were preparing for baptism. What this girl is being taught by creepy adults on social media is every bit as homophobic as what I was taught at church, with an extra dose of being self-destructive.

I also don’t see it as a big issue. If they see a trans man as a man, but know they’re sex life would be affected because they’re not turned on my afab genitalia that’s okay. That’s not transphobia.

As is always the way, the kids are more tolerant and open-minded than the parents. In this case her real parents are strangers online since she is apparently not part of a community irl.

Edit: Forget all the dumb shit I said 'cause Chunkee's joke flew over my head. This person is a college student with two diagnosed mental illnesses that she's on medication for. She's severely mentally ill rather than a literal child.

See if this will get you past the prompt to use the app:

https://old.reddit.com/r/TransyTalk/comments/obqv8l/i_think_genital_preferences_are_okay

Maybe using Old Reddit will force it to open in a browser instead?

Here's an archive for ya though, just in case: https://archive.ph/HJWie

Ah thank you, that worked.

12 years old is far, far too young to be thinking about sex.

This makes me so sad.
