Rural, working class white people are villified in media to the point that they're a Boogeyman. So, doubtful anybody from WeHo would be brave enough to speak to one.

"hunting" gay kids used to be their favourite past time though. so it's not like they magically transformed or redeemed themselves. just because they lost the "culture war" doesnt mean they repented or changed their ways.

No. I mean as in finding, beating and killing gay people twice as young as them. It's a deep part of their culture. Just because we dont like transexuals doesnt mean we forgot about these people. For such a small group of people, gay males make the top of the list when it comes to hate crimes. "red necks" aren't all about trucks and beer. They have an ideology even if theyre too stupid to articulate it.
