Hahaha no SHIT. There's been a massive explosion in the proportion of young people identifying as transgender. I guess this isn't common knowledge among most people.

And actually, the OP's ratio is not too far off. 3-4% population-wide for LGB people, before most of this madness started taking off-- and now that many transitioning LGB youth identify as "straight transmen/transwomen," that number's gonna be even smaller. Maybe let's say 2-3%. Gallup's 2021 poll suggests 16% of Gen Z in the US are LGBT, but I've seen individual universities list their numbers way higher, at like 20-25%!

Add to that, the fact that a lot of LGB people have been banned from or censored on most large social media platforms for having "the wrong opinions," and of course "LGBT" spaces will be even more dominiated by the T.

I assume there'd be more heterosexuals transitioning and identifying as homosexual though- enough to offset the loss of real homosexuals in that figure.

it's really simple, being gay is a lot more socially accepted than being trans so they need more support.

I just wish they'd understand that being genderfluid or nonconforming and not caring about roles and style and stuff is totally fine and an absolutely beautiful concept, but just that they're not trans.

I'm just imagining the comic potential of the disappointment when "trans lesbians" are excited to go to a lesbian bar or space, and absolutely everyone else there is a trans lesbian. Not a cis woman in sight. You'd think they'd make the best of it and date each other, but that doesn't fulfill their need for validation from a true womanly woman who loves women. Plus , I don't think they themselves are crazy about ladydique. This would make a good comedy sketch if anyone had the balls (npi).
