Gay people are going to bear the brunt of the coming backlash because of totalitarian shit like this. We're not the ones pushing this mind-control and heavy handed punishment for nonconformity. It's the TRA agenda pushing it but we're the "respectable" face and front of it, it's appalling. Would be cool to see some vanilla gay NHS employees, GC or not, to refuse to wear the Pride pin just out of solidarity with those who have principled objections.

It would be nice.

Health workers will be asked...to show their willingness “to speak up and challenge intolerance”.

LOL

They are about one step away from corporate struggle sessions.

Who's going to be our Joseph Welch to speak that immortal line, "At long last, have you left no sense of decency?"

Idk, but I can't wait for another actor/lawyer combo like that to shatter the spell of the emperor's new clothes.

It's like the pronouns thing on steroids. I clicked from that to the link about the university giving out prosthetic breasts and packers to 'nonbinary and trans' students. WTF.

Unfortunately, I know a lot of people IRL who would love this scheme.

The idea of demanding people physically display a badge about their opinion on a controversial subject at work is tone-deaf and divisive; the idea of suggesting to employees that they ought to "inform on" their coworkers who do "not sufficiently signal their support" is over-controlling and authoritarian.

Is Scotland even a free country anymore?

I would never wear that badge.
